Hard-hitting congas, bells and blocks meet the roar of baritone saxophone, while tight two-part vocal harmonies are backed by freight train electro drum machines, DYSTOH unifies the voice of blues and soul, the rhythm of Latin salsa, the unbridled creativity of reggae and dub, and the groove of modern-day Afro sounds. Juxtaposing the raw fire of these turbulent times with the increasingly fragile notion of what it means to be human in this new and dangerous age, the duo’s original up-tempo creations are paired with deep lyrical reflections on a shared inner struggle and acts of empathy, exploring everything from mental health to personal loss, climate change to social resistance, giving you the vibrant energy that comes with Dystoh’s debut album Heat of the Times (released in April 2024).

Come & Go, the first single and video from the album combines footage of DYSTOH’s travels to Dakar, Senegal for their showcase at Dakar Music Expo, as well as footage from their first Colombian tour with performances in Bogota, and Cali. Come & Go is about that now or never moment, the one that puts you face to face with the point of no return, and you decide to either stay exactly where you are or risk it all on where your dreams take you. Two more videos have recently been released on YouTube, All My Life and Let Me Be, also from DYSTOH’s debut album.
