Joyce N’sana, an avant-garde musical visionary, with genre-defying compositions. Fusing elements of jazz, electronica, and traditional Congolese rhythms, N’sana crafts a sonic tapestry that transcends boundaries and captivates audiences worldwide. Her sound, which she calls “Afrobluehop”, is characterised by a tasty mix of Afro-blues and hip hop, which creates a mesmerising experience for listeners .

Growing up during the Congolese wars, N’sana is determined to deliver clear messages of peace. Recognised by Radio-Canada as a 2021-2022 Révélation for her “incredible intensity” and “strength of a survivor”, her live performances are charged with an intense energy fuelled by a rockin’ band of fellow travellers, centring her distinctive voice, which ranges from raspy whispers to full-throated powerhouse calls-to-action.
